How do I list my property on Masyaf?

Tap the + button on the Home tab. Add photos (the first one is the cover), pick your destination, fill in the title, price, and amenities, then choose a tier and publish.

Your listing goes live immediately in most cases. If we need to review it first, you'll be notified once it's approved.

What's the difference between Standard and Premium?

Standard includes everything you need to list and get inquiries — a place in the Explore feed, direct messaging with guests, analytics, and the full editorial listing page and card.

Premium adds boosted visibility in Explore and a Featured badge on your listing card, so your ad stands out from Standard listings.

How long does my listing stay live?

Each listing runs for 30 days. Near the end of that period, you'll get a reminder to extend it if you want to keep it visible.

Extending is the same flow as creating — pick a tier and confirm. Once the 30 days are up without an extension, the listing expires and is hidden from Explore.

Can I edit a listing after publishing it?

Yes. Open the listing from your profile and tap Edit. While a listing is live, you can update photos, title, unit type, price, description, contact phone, contact preferences, and amenities.

While a listing is live, the following fields are locked to keep the listing's identity stable:

  • Compound (and the area + destination derived from it)
  • Floor number
  • Bedrooms, bathrooms, max guests
  • Tier (Standard / Premium)

To change any of those, archive the listing and republish it — the republish flow opens every field for editing. While the listing is in review, rejected, awaiting payment, or draft, every field is editable so you can address feedback or change direction without starting over.

Why hasn't my listing appeared yet?

A few possible reasons:

  • It's still under review. You'll get a notification once it's approved.
  • The listing was rejected for missing or low-quality information — check your notifications for details.
  • You're scrolling Explore but it sits lower in the order — Premium listings get a boost. Pull down to refresh.

How do I message a host?

Open a listing and tap the Message button. Your conversation lives in the Messages tab. The host gets a push notification when you send a message.

If the host has a phone number listed publicly, you can also tap to call or WhatsApp them directly.

How do I block or report someone?

Open the person's profile or any of their listings and tap the menu (•••). You'll see options to Block or Report.

Blocking is symmetric and immediate — you stop seeing each other's content and messages. Reports are reviewed by our team.

You can manage your blocked accounts any time from Settings → Privacy & Safety → Blocked Accounts.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account directly from the app:

  1. Open the Profile tab
  2. Tap Edit Profile (also reachable from Settings → Edit Profile)
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account

Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, listings, photos, conversations, and history. If you'd prefer help from us instead, use Contact us below.

Why was I given a free Standard listing?

Every signed-in account starts with one free Standard credit — enough to publish a listing for 30 days at no charge. After you use it, a new free credit unlocks automatically 45 days later, and any unused credit stays valid for 12 months.

You can always check your current balance in Settings → Credits.

My listing says "Approved — pay to publish". What's that?

When admin review is on for your account, listings move through a short review step before going live. Once we approve your listing you'll get a notification — your listing is held in Approved, awaiting payment until you complete payment, then it goes live immediately. We will not charge you before the listing is approved.

To complete payment, open the listing from your profile and tap Pay & Publish.

Can I save money by buying listings in bulk?

Yes. You can buy a 5-pack at 20% off or a 10-pack at 40% off, in either Standard or Premium tier. Each credit publishes one listing for 30 days. Credits stay valid for 12 months from the purchase date.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google directly (we don't process the money on our side). If Apple or Google issue a refund, here's what happens on Masyaf:

  • Unused credits from a refunded bundle are revoked.
  • Already-published listings from a refunded single purchase are archived pending our review — they are not silently removed.
  • You'll see a confirmation message in your Messages from Masyaf Support describing exactly what happened.

If you believe a refund was processed in error, reply on that thread and we'll investigate.

I cancelled the App Store purchase — is my listing still there?

Yes. If you cancelled mid-purchase, your listing is saved as a Draft in your profile under the Archived tab. Open it and tap Complete Payment to publish it.

Drafts don't expire — take your time. Just be aware: edits made to a draft listing while pricing or the platform changes may need re-review when you eventually publish.
